About-Sports & Environment Association of Chandigarh Employees (SEACE)
The employees of the Chandigarh Administration have formed an Association by the name of Sports and Environment Association of Chandigarh Employees (SPACE). The same has been registered in the office of Registrar Firms and Societies, UT, Chandigarh vide No. 4959 of 2021 on 23rd March 2021 under (Act XXI of 1860). Under this banner, the Association plans to conduct lots of activities for the welfare of the employees.
The Association’s main motive is to keep the employees fit by participating in various activities like:
Grow more trees to increase the green belt in Tricity.
To make the members aware about wilderness and to increase nature awareness.
To promote ornithology among members.
To promote adventurous activities and cycling, trekking, yoga, aerobics, swimming, badminton, athletics, meditation, and various indoor games.
This will be an immunity booster for the employees and will further increase the efficiency in their day-to-day activities and office work. It is also imperative to mention here that the employees of the Chandigarh Administration have been participating in the All India Civil Services Tournament organized by the Ministry of Personnel, New Delhi and under the banner of the Association, the result will be more fruitful as more time will be provided to the players for preparation, etc.
